Dear Colleagues:

.....It's my great honor and privilege to announce that the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists (TAO) will host the 2nd World Implant Orthodontic Conference (WIOC) in Taiwan, at the Taipei International Convention Center in Taipei from December 10-12, 2010. The theme will be “World Trends of Anchorage Development-TADs.”

.....The WIOC was first initiated by Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. It aims to introduce the latest techniques and evidence on applying the absolute anchorage. By applying various bone-retained anchorage systems, TAD has significantly reduced the treatment complexity in our daily practice and has broadened the case spectrum which can be treated orthodontically. TAD has become one of the most popular topics in orthodontics throughout the world.

.....The 1st WIOC has successfully been hosted in Seoul, Korea in 2008. It is now our privilege and responsibility to host another updated, informative and enjoyable WIOC in Taipei in 2010. We have worked hard and have lined up the experts in this field to present a stimulating scientific program which will bring the very best to the audience on the TADs.

.....In addition, we have also prepared various attractive social activities which will ensure that you have the opportunity to meet orthodontists from all over the world, and to enjoy the best gourmet and entertainment of Taiwan.

.....On behalf of the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists, I am extending my warmest invitation to all our colleagues around the world to participate the 2nd WIOC in Taiwan.  Taiwan features beautiful scenery, vibrant cultures, true hospitality and various fine cuisines.

.....The organizing committee and I are looking forward to the pleasure of meeting you in Taipei on December 10, 2010.
Do come and join us.
Best regards,

Dr. Ching-Huei Horng, DDS.,MS
